Hi,

I have installed WSE 3.0
The first time I open the documentation the system updated the help file.
After it was done I got an error message.
When I debug he breaks on the line above from following function:

function Load(key)
{
userDataCache.load("docSettings");
var value = userDataCache.getAttribute(key);
return value;
}

This function is called from script.js

Any idea?
Thanks

Hi Bart,

It appears to be your VS documentation's setting has some problem. Does any
other VS documentation on your side have the problem?

Have you tried to perform a repair or reinstallation of the WSE 3.0? Does
it work?

Thanks!

Best regards,

Gary Chang

OK Bart, I got it.

Then would you please tell me which version of Visual Studio 2005 and MSDN/
VS Documentaion you installed in your machine, and what's the command line
of your WSE 3.0 documentation's shortcut?

Thanks!

Hi Bart,

That also seems alright.

Then I suggest you try to delete your IE's temporary files and cookies for
a test. You can do this in your IE's internet options(just click "Delete
Cookies..." and "Delete Files"), then reboot your machine.

By the way, if you type the following URL in your IE's address bar, can
access the WSE3.0's start page?

ms-help://MS.WSE30.1033/WSE3.0/html/6f194c77-6fe3-42a2-88ee-0599d4b4779c.htm

That may be the problem. Is it possible for you to uninstall the IE7 and
use the IE6 for a test?

Thanks!
