hi,
i've just downloaded CD1 and CD2 of VS 2005 Professional, and i have it
installed and working. i don't appear to have any offline
documentation. i re-ran the setup and there were no extra options to
install more documentation.
i would like to have the complete 2.0 class library offline, but i
don't want to download a few gigs of MSDN iso images just so i can have
the 100mb or so help files i need. any ideas?
thanks
tim

Since I don't have an MSDN sub, I am not certain if this will work. I do know that if you download the Framework 2.0 SDK and
install it, that it will work with VB2005 Express Edition. Of course, the SDK is
about 350Megs or so too. But, that might be an option for you.

Sure, you can download the .NET Framework SDK directly from http://msdn.microsoft.com/netframework/downloads/updates/default.aspx ,and install the SDK seperately.
