No MSDN with Visual Studio 2005

I installed VS2005 release version and installed the documentation as part of
the installation. Then I installed SQL Server 2005 Developer edition.

Now in my help for VS2005, I have all of the SQL Server books but no MSDN.
I downloaded the MSDN for VS2005 and did a repair using that, but still do
not have any VS2005 help available. The files are on my pc - there are 1.5
GB of files in C:\Program Files\MSDN\MSDN8.0 folder.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Further testing revealed that I had only the SQL Server 2005 option available
in the "Filtered by" dropdown. That would explain why nothing except SQL
Server help was available.

To fix the problem, I had to uninstall MSDN completely and re-install it.
When I did, the problem was fixed. The "Filtered by" dropdown shows the
appropriate options and when I select other options, I get the appropriate
help.

Hope this helps someone else.
