I had to re-install both VS .NET 2002 and VS .NET 2003. After a glitch with
the former, both were installed successfully. However when I attempt to look
at their help collections, whether from within the IDE or separately in the
case of VS .NET 2003 which installs its own separate Help collection,
nothing appears in the Contents or any other view.

Does anyone know why MSDN Help is not working on my system ? All VS .NET
installations as well as all MSDN help files are installed on a drive other
than the C: drive. When I attempted to install a help collection on the C:
drive, the same problem occurred. For some reason the dexplore.exe help
viewer is not finding the contents for any collection. Help ! <g>

Have you seen the thread : "Dynamic help, MSDN documentation cannot be
displayed" in this newsgroup ?
If your problem is related to that, moving your Temporary Internet Files
Folder may solve the problem.

My problem occurs with all Help, not just Dynamic Help. Nothing displays in
any of the Help panes, whether Content, Index, or Search.

Thanks nonetheless.

Did you reinstall or repair MSDN after reinstall Visual Studio? If not, I'd
suggest doing so; as part of the MSDN installation, MSDN integrates itself
as the VS help system. I can easily see it getting "confused" when VS
(especially multiple versions) are reinstalled.

I'm getting the same problem. I've reinstalled Visual Studio and reinstalled
MSDN, and I still get blank screens for any help topic, whether inside or
outside of VS.NET.

After installing MSDN Library April 2005 there is no Help available in VS.NET
2003. I have already uninstalled/reinstalled the library - without success!
So people from Microsoft wake up and give us a solution for that problem!
