I can't be sure I've even opened MSDN for Visual Studio 6 on this build of my
development PC since installing it but I did open it tonight. I looked up a
couple of items with no problem and then, for some reason, about half of the
items I try to open from the index won't open but, instead, open the
installer Visual Studio .Net 2003 and tries to update Visual Studio .Net
2003. The installer prompts me for the Visual Studio .Net 2003 installation
disk.
While I have the disk and could put it in, what would happen if I was on the
road? Why would opening articles in CHM based MSDN associated with Visual
Studio 6 try to update Visual Studio .Net 2003 that uses a totally different
format for MSDN?
